4 Months

And Kate just keeps growing...

Kate is a happy cheerful baby that gives big smiles to everyone. She had found her voice and will chat with anyone who will listen. 

She has recently decided she doesn't care much for her binky and has moved on to her thumb. She prefers to nap in her swing, but takes one long nap in her crib midday. 

She loves her brothers, especially Jack, and just lights up for them. And they love her just as much. 

Her preferred method of transportation is facing forward so she can see what's going on. So she faces out on our walks now. 

She rolls a lot now although she still doesn't love being on her belly when she gets there. She was showing signs of teething and we are waiting for that tooth to pop through. 

We love Kate, the happy, good natured little gal!

Three Lil Pumpkins

We carved our pumpkins for Family Home Evening. 

We focused hard drawing the faces on

Daddy helped carve the faces. 

We had a scary face with five eyes 

A silly face 

And a happy face 

We love our little pumpkins!

Three

Luke is officially three years old!

He is quite the busy guy. He loves to play outside and ride four wheelers. He likes climbing trees, playing in the sandbox and going to the park. 

Luke likes a lot of the same things his daddy does - cars, guns, etc. He begs to go hunting with Daddy. 

He loves to play with dinosaurs. He likes to play pretend with pirates, animals, and cars. He likes to assign all family members roles in his games. 

Luke loves Chick-Fil-A. He always requests it and can spot it a mile away. While the food is good, I think his favorite part is the toys. 

He's got a fun vocabulary and talks a lot about everything. Sometimes he mixes up words and its hilarious. Some recent fun mix ups - calling visitors "customers" and the elevator "the alligator". 

He and Jack have a love hate relationship. The love playing with each other most of the time. But they also love to tease each other and push buttons. Typical brothers. Luke's favorite friend is Gavin when Jack is at school. 

We love Luke and can't imagine life without him!

The Great Outdoors Party

Luke had his third birthday party and we pretended we were going camping!

We put up a tent in the backyard 

And grilled hot dogs

The kids wore their camo and climbed trees. Can you see them?

Luke got his very own big four wheeler. 

And has been speeding around the backyard ever since. 

He took a break to blow out his candles 

On his campfire s'mores cupcakes. 

And opened presents. 

We roasted marshmallows and ate s'mores 

It was the perfect night to celebrate our favorite three year old!

Pumpkin Picking

For Family Home Evening we visited the pumpkin "patch."

All three kids were happy to be there 

They searched and searched for the perfect pumpkin 

Eventually we found a Jack o'lantern 

A Luke o'lantern 

And a Kate o'lantern

They all found the perfect pumpkin 

It was a successful pumpkin night!

Fall Evenings

Fall evenings are for...

Roasting marshmallows 

Enjoying s'mores 

Relaxing on the deck by the fire pit 

And riding four wheelers

Roller Derby

We have a mover on our hands.  Kate has been able to roll from tummy to back for awhile - it's her way of getting out of tummy time.  But on Sunday, while hanging with Daddy, she rolled from back to tummy.  Then on Tuesday, while hanging with her girlfriends, she just couldn't stop rolling and was rolling all over them.  Now every time you lay her down on her back, she rolls right over - and gets mad that she's on her tummy! She's a busy little lady!

Sunday Sister Love

Our kiddos look so cute dressed up for church. Kate is like a little doll that we love to dress up. And her brothers adore her. Jack spent most of sacrament meeting drawing pictures of her and writing her name. When she was being held by the people sitting in front of us, Luke whined that he wanted his baby back until she was back in our pew. They love their little sis!

Halloween is Here!

We got out our Halloween box and there is excitement in the air!

We put up our decor, including our wreath. For Family Home Evening, we painted little pumpkins. 

Kate was so excited when we let her in on the action. I love her face in this picture:

The boys enjoy dressing up in their old costumes. I found Spider-Man in my car today 

And then this wizard appeared 

Plus I've spotted a pumpkin and a puppy running around. They can't wait until Halloween!
