They read stories about snow, made snowmen using snow puff glue and then made snow out of conditioner and baking soda! It was a great experience!

Museum Updates
Day off of school + new Children's Museum pass = fun afternoon
We hadn't been in awhile and were excited to find they had put in some new exhibits and fixed up some of the older ones.
The kids LOVED playing vet.
Firegirl Kate will save the day!
We caught up on the local news from these newscasters
And jammed with the band
We were excited to find these fun cars and raced around
It was a super fun morning!

Afternoon Outings
Boy's Afternoon Out was a busy one. They went to Lowe's, Academy Sports, and then hit the movie theater to see Rogue One.
The fun didn't end there! Then they went to Toys R Us and Chick Fil A.
And everyone was happy!
Sportsman Paradise
We made our annual trip to the Boat and RV Show.
We did some fishing
And even caught a few (then put them back).
And of course we dreamt big of all the boats and RV's we wish we could buy. We've got one of each picked out!
Gotta be ready when you live in the Sportsman's Paradise of Louisiana

Big Girl
Our baby isn't a baby anymore. She's doing all kinds of big girl things
She got a big girl bike and rides it like a pro.
She thinks she can do everything herself and does NOT want your help.
And she recently started potty training, or riding the potty train as she calls it. She's still learning, but is doing a great job!
Where did my baby go?

Banner Roll
As he has every term, Jack again made Banner Roll for this term. He also made his AR goal and was named Class Citizen for this term. Way to go, Jack!
Winter
We had our winter. It got into the 20's and lasted for three days. Then it went back to the 70s and has remained steady
During one of those cold days, the power went out in Lake Charles on a Sunday morning. We bundled up and were able to take the sacrament before they sent us home to warm up.
Cousin Love
They say cousins are your lifelong friends and it's true. Even though we don't see our cousins often, the kids always seem to pick up right where they left off.
Kate and Aubree (or Aub-ee as she is called) were little buddies.
Luke and Briley loved running around together and were swimming buddies.
We loved watching movies, playing games and running around together
One night Kate and Paris even had matching hair!
We also saw some of our Strong cousins. The kids thought Camille was adorable
And liked wrestling and playing chase with Carter
Cousins are the best!

Outdoor Toys
Nana and Pop Pop surprised everyone with lots of new toys to play with.
The kids had fun running around, burning off energy and enjoying each other's company
Flying High
While the boys went to a Spurs game for Boys Night Out, the girls spent their outing skydiving. We suited up and we're giving our instructions.
We were placed in a wind tunnel with our instructor, who guided us in flying.
We each went twice and on our final flight, he took us up and down super fast. It was exhilarating and definitely something I had never even thought about trying. So glad we did it!
Shoot'Em
We had a great time playing laser tag as a family. Everybody picked awesome names and went after each other
Dallin won both games and Megan came in second. We pretty much dominated.

Jump Jump
We converted Pop Pop to the trampoline park at Luke's birthday and he took us there TWICE while we visited!
There were lots of tricks, contests and cousin bonding time
This is one bouncy family!
Little Fish
It was December but the weather was still warm enough to swim everyday.
There were two fish that spent hours in the pool - Briley
Party Bus
The day after Christmas we headed to San Antonio to see (most of) the Coffman's
They rented a 15 passenger van to haul everybody around in and the fungenda was packed full of adventures including laser tag, the trampoline park (twice), Chuckie Cheese, and the movies to see Sing!
And we were all able to chat while we cruised around on our adventures!

Christmas 2016
We were excited to find what Santa left for us. Jack got a remote control helicopter
Luke received the Paw Terrain vehicle from Paw Patrol. Kate got Peppa and George Pig and a bike.
And our stocking were full of candy, movies, and bath toys.
We opened lots of fun gifts together before enjoying a delicious breakfast.
We then headed to church to remember the real reason for Christmas.
After church we played with our new toys, FaceTime with family,
Enjoyed our Christmas dinner,
And packed for our big trip to San Antonio!
Christmas Eve
We kicked off Christmas Eve by attending the baptism of our friend Austin. Then the excitement mounted all day before we had our traditional gumbo dinner and opened pajamas.
Then we cranked up the Christmas tunes and drove around looking at all the awesome Christmas lights
When we got home, we prepped Santa's plate and put out our reindeer food. The kids were very excited.
Finally we all settled in with visions of sugarplums and Santa dancing in our heads
