Click the links to relive our awesome year

We celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary in August.
Dallin surprised me with a wedding cake, since there was a mishap with ours at our wedding.
He made a delicious dinner and we spent time together as a family.
An all around great day!

9. She'll Be Coming Through the Mountains
In March we travelled to Denver to see Savannah get baptized.
We had a great time visiting with family, playing Just Dance 2, and sharing in Savannah's special day.
And we even got stuck in a bad snow storm and got to spend an extra day!

8. Double the California Dreaming
In February we used the long President's weekend to fly to California.
It was a much needed break from the Utah winter.

We were able to go again in August for a wedding.
It was a super hot weekend, but we kept cool at the beach and the pool!

7. Family in the House
We've been lucky to have lots of family visit us this year.
All of Dallin's family came for Andrew's wedding.
And Nana and Pop Pop are finishing out the year by visiting us!

6. Two is the Magic Number
Jack turned two in July.
We celebrated with a big blow out Mickey Mouse party.
Jack has changed so much this year.
His vocabulary has grown by about 100 x's.
He's a busy active guy.
He's even trying out big boy underwear.
Now if he'd just start sleeping through the night...

5. Something in the Water
This was the year of the wedding.
In August my sister Whitney married Jared Stewart in the Los Angeles Temple.
We travelled to California to share in the special day.

Then in September Dallin's brother Andrew married Lacie Wade in the Salt Lake Temple.
We were lucky to have lots of family visit to share in their exciting day.
The grin on Andrew's face was priceless!

4. Done, Done, DONE!
In April Dallin graduated from BYU with his degree in Environmental Science.
It was a happy and much anticipated day!
Congrats, Dallin!

3. A Grown Up Job
In September, Dallin was offered a job as an environmental consultant at ES&H.
There was no hesitation about accepting the job and he started work in November and has enjoyed it ever since.

2. To Cajun Country We Go
Did I mention that Dallin's new job is in Lake Charles, Louisiana?
So three days after the birth of Luke, the moving truck headed to Louisiana.
The kids and I soon joined Dallin and have been enjoying our time exploring Cajun country.

1. And Baby Makes Four...

On October 26 at 6:00 pm, Lucas Scott Coffman joined our family.
He is a beautiful, sweet baby and has added so much to our family.
Definitely the most awesome part of 2011 for us!

This has been a wonderful, blessed year for our little family with so many amazing changes!
Let's hope 2012 is just as great!

Joy to the World

Santa came to our house!

He ate up our treats and left a note for Jack and Luke.

He brought Jack a Cars chair and a wooden race car.
He gave Luke a play mat and a car just like Jack's.

He left all sorts of treasures in their stockings, include big boy underwear and lots of candy.
He gave each boy a movie and Luke got some new binkies.

Jack had a blast opening presents.
Thanks to all the wonderful family who sent us such fun presents!
After he'd finish opening one present, he would move immediately to the next present, saying, "Open more!"

Poor Luke was suffering with his first cold and slept most of the day, including through the presents. Fortunately his kind brother was willing to open his presents for him.

The big present of the day was from Mommy and Daddy.

Here is video of opening his "Big Buzz"

He was very excited to have his own Buzz Lightyear.

We went to church, despite having a grumpy, overly excited two year old on our hands.

Then the missionaries came over for brunch - eggs, sausage, bacon, and pancakes!

Jack spent the rest of the day playing with his new toys.

Luke eventually woke up and played with his new play mat.
Can you tell he liked it?

We watched Toy Story 2, one of their new movies, as a family.

We had a very happy and merry Christmas and hope that you did too!

'Twas the Night Before Christmas

Lil Santa joined us early in the day.
This was Jack's Christmas outfit from 2 years ago and it was a little big.
Plus Luke was extremely unhappy about his get up, so we changed him into something more comfortable and had Monkey wear the outfit.
We had our Christmas Eve feast - ham, stuffing, green bean casserole, cheesy potatoes, yams, and rolls.

I also made two pies - pecan and chocolate peanut butter cream.
The pecan pie didn't turn out that well, but the cream pie was delicious!

Then the boys each got to open one present.
Jack helped Luke open his cool striped pajamas.

Jack was very excited to open his Toy Story pajamas!

Modeling their new jammies - aren't they adorable?
Then we put together Santa's goody plate.

We finished the evening with hot chocolate, donuts, and a drive to see the Christmas lights.
We loved the lights that danced along with a radio station.

Both boys were exhausted and went to bed with visions of sugar plums dancing in their head.

Dallin and I watched "It's A Wonderful Life" while we waited for Santa to come.

Too Excited for Christmas

Before I get to my Christmas posts, I have to document what happened last Friday morning.
I was feeding Luke in the bedroom.
Jack came in and got mad because I wouldn't let him poke Luke while he was eating.
So he closed the bedroom door and disappeared.
A few minutes later, I came out and saw one half open present on the couch, and two completely opened presents in front of my first born.
Only one present was actually for him.
As soon as I said something to him, he burst into tears.
He knew he had been naughty and he ran to his room crying.
Poor guy was guilty!
We talked about why it was wrong for a few minutes and then he helped me rewrap the presents.
And he didn't go near the presents again until Christmas!

2 Months!

Our sweet little Luke turned two months old today!
I can't believe that two months have passed.
It seems like just yesterday he was born, yet it also seems like he's been with us forever.

He is growing quickly.
By my estimates, I think he's about 12 lbs., but we'll need to take him to the doctor for an official weigh in. He seems to carry most of the weight in his cheeks, although I love that he has rolls on his legs, something his brother never had.
He loves to eat and eats about every 2.5 - 3 hours, usually more often in the evenings before bed.
He is a pretty good sleeper.
At night he usually wakes up every 3 hours, although the last few nights he has slept for a 6 hour stretch.
He generally takes one really good nap in his own bed during the day, and then takes little cat naps when he's held and will wake up as soon as you put him down the rest of the day.
He still prefers to sleep in his bouncy seat sitting up.

He's turned into a cute little smiley boy and will smile at you when you talk to him.
He loves to lay on either Mom's bed or his changing table and talk, smile, and kick.
He has a cute little voice.
He has also started to grab better and likes to put his hand in Mommy's shirt as he's falling asleep.

He is known around our house as Baby Ukey.
He can only take so much of his brother's loves, but is generally a good sport.
He likes riding in the car as long as we keep moving.

He is the sweetest baby boy and we are so lucky he is in our family.
We love our Baby Ukey!

The Taste of Christmas

Jack and I decided to make Christmas sugar cookies.

It was a process that spanned several days due to Luke being fussy.
You can tell by all the different shirts Jack is wearing.

He loved getting right in there and getting messy.

The candy cane cookie cutter was his favorite,

Then he met the frosting and sprinkles.

He was in heaven.

So much so that our floor ended up being covered in blue sprinkles.

Later we took the cookies around to his nursery teacher and some friends.

While it was super messy, Jack loved it and is already begging to make more.

Brother Time

First thing in the morning is Luke's happiest time of day.
He loves to lay on my bed and kick, smile, and coo.
His big brother always wants in on the action too.
And the other day Jack asked me to take their picture.

Loving on his brother!

Happy baby!

Cute big boy!
