Spirit Fingers

Kate spent the morning at the Cheer Clinic with the cheerleaders and Broncette dance team. She had fun learning cheers, a dance, and playing games. We are tuff in the Bluff! Geaux, Broncos!

Happy Camper

Luke spent four days at the Hebert Baseball Camp where the boy’s high school baseball team worked and played with them. I’ve seen a huge improvement in his hitting and throwing. This guy loves him some baseball!

First Days of Summer

We've been having a good time getting in the summer groove.  We went to the library Summer Reading Kick Off Party!

We've spent lots of time in the pool.

And are wearing our fun summer outfits.

And eating Otter Pops by the dozen.

Yay for summer!

Kicking Off Summer

After working so hard this school year, we are ready for some summer fun!

We are filling the pool!

And eating all the treats!

And soaking up the sunshine!

Summer is here and it's going to be glorious!

Happy Birthday to Me!

Happy Birthday to Me!

Our family headed to my favorite place to eat for dinner.  Tia Juanita's tacos never disappoint!

Then we walked downtown to watch listen to some Zydeco music at Downtown at Sundown.

We had a beautiful breeze, great music, and amazing company!  A great way to spend a birthday!

Oh the Places You’ll Go, Part 2

Our first grader has grown up! Lucas had his first official awards day and showed off his awesomeness! He received awards for Banner Roll, Conduct, and for being the top AR reader in his class. He started our the year with one of the warmest, kindest teachers you’ll ever meet and was blessed with a fun replacement when his teacher needed to take some time off. So two awesome teachers for the price of one! Now this stud is a second grader!

Crash!

Just as we were getting ready to go to Jack's art show, Kate fell off of the couch onto the air purifier and hurt her mouth pretty good.  Daddy patched her up with glue and bandages and antiseptic, but, oh that little mouth is so sore!

Our little tough girl still managed to go to the art show and a baseball game that night, but was even more the same day.

She's still beautiful, bandages, bruises, blood and all

Art Love

Jack had his end of the year art show tonight.  He always enjoys showing off his work at the library and the little reception they have.  All the kids love the treats and Ms. Julie's famous ice cream punch.  He continues to learn and grow as an artist and can't wait for art camp!

Oh the Places You’ll Go

And just like that - Jack is done with fourth grade! He had an awesome teacher that kept him excited about learning and helped him continue to grow. This year he received a whole slew of awards, including Banner Roll all year, all the top AR awards for reading 2,226,006 words, 346.9 points, and 106 books, and outstanding in French. Since he is one of the top two students in the whole school, he was given a Kindle Fire. He is so excited! After all of his hard work this year, he’s ready to relax and read for fun this summer.

Recreating the Fun and Games

Luke's stomach bug was only a 24-hour thing, so we invited the missionaries over for dinner and to recreate the game day!

It wasn't totally the same, but we still had a great time with lots of laughs!

It’s All Fun and Games

Our Primary group had a fun Mother and Son Game Day!  Sadly, Luke got super sick with a stomach bug and couldn't even pull himself off the couch to come.  We were so sad.  But fortunately Jack and I played hard to make up for the loss of our teammate.

We had a great time and dominated the games! Go Team Coffman!

Little Graduates

Today was preschool graduation for our hard working preschoolers!

Mrs. Angie invited us over to play on her awesome new slide.

These cute girls worked hard and learned so much this year.

Here's to the class of 2032!

Party in the Field

This week was the traditional Moss Bluff Elementary Field Day!

It was hot and toasty, but that didn't stop these kids from having a blast!

They competed hard

And had fun with friends!

Another great field day for the books!
