Christmas!
Santa visited our house!
Jack got a remote control car
Luke got a bike
And Kate got a kitchen set
We had a yummy breakfast and everybody spent the day playing with toys.
We were able to Skype with Aunt Sass in Argentina.
Dallin fried up a turkey and we had quite the spread for Christmas dinner.
We snuck in some time outside before the rain hit.
Twas the Night Before Christmas
After a tasty dinner of gumbo on Christmas Eve, the kids opened up their Christmas pajamas.
Jack read us The Night Before Christmas
Luke was both excited and nervous for Santa.
While Dallun read the nativity story from the Bible, Kate got her nativity set to demonstrate.

Cabin Fun
A few months ago I won a giveaway on Facebook for a weekend at the Cabins of Horseshoe Hills in Nachotiches. We finally made it up there and it was amazing!
There are six cabins and they are all super cute.
There is a beautiful view of the river from our back deck.
Jack asked, "Can we go out and admire the beautiful view?"
We spent our first evening by the fire, playing board games.
The kids loved playing together c
During the day, we were busy! We went fishing
Played in the leaves
Went for a hike
Fed the donkeys
Visited the horses
And fished some more
Nachidoches also has a beautiful Christmas festival with a bustling downtown full of lights
And they put on one awesome firework show.
It was a great weekend, but we were all exhausted by the end.
Went out on the canoe

Jack's Busy Day
This week has been nonstop fun for Jack. On Thursday his class had their Christmas party and the smile never left his face.
They decorated cookies and made reindeer food.
They made each other into snowmen using toilet paper.
They had a coloring book gift exchange. He had an awesome time!
Their teacher gave them sketch pads for Christmas and there were lots of snacks.
That night his art class had an art show at the library. Their work has been on display there all week.
Here is Jack with his awesome elf.
He loves art class!
