Biking Into the New Year

Everyone is starting to feel better, so we finished out the year at Sam Houston Jones State Park.



We did some hiking and found a new trail.





The kids brought their bikes and thought they were hot stuff mountain biking other trails.







We got lots of exercise!  Four miles of hiking for this momma!

Santa Came!

This was not our typical Christmas with Dallin working out of town and the boys being sick.  But Santa still managed to come.  He brought Jack a hoverboard, which he is amazingly agile at.



Luke got a cool dirt bike that he speeds around on.



And got a new bike with a baby seat on back for her new Baby Alive Doll. 

We have the need for speed!

Merry Christmas!

Christmas Baking

With the boys so sick, most of our Christmas baking fell to Kate and I. 



We made lots of tasty treats, including sugar cookies, fudge, toffee, and chocolate pretzels.





We made up plates and went around delivering our treats to friends.



The elves love leaving the treats and running.  They are very sneaky!

Sick for the Holidays

We were so excited for Christmas Break...then Luke woke up the first day with a fever. 



He spent several days sick, then Jack started in sick too.  They were both miserable for about five days.  Kate and I did our best to keep them comfortable and happy without getting sick!

Polar Express Day

It's Polar Express Day!  The kids were able to wear their pajamas and watch the movie for their last day of school!



The moms went to lunch for once last hurrah before the kids are home for Christmas Break!

Baking With Bea

We've missed our little Bea and loved seeing how much she's grown!  We were able to go to her house to help bake cookies for her class Christmas party.  It's fun hearing about all of her adventures at day care.



She had us laughing the whole time with all the funny things she says.  We love our little friend!

Fun on the Farm Part 2

I love CM Farms so much that I went back again today for the second grade field trip!



Lucas had fun checking everything out and playing with friends.











He had so much fun that he could have spent all day there.  It's a whole different experience with a big boy than a little girl!

The Gingerbread House

Holiday art show time for Jack!  This year he painted a gingerbread house.



Every year he just keeps getting better and better.



He also made this Christmas tree potholder.  He loves art class and Ms. Julie!

Fun on the Farm

My bestie and I went on a fun kindergarten field trip to CM Farms.



It was a freezing day, but we had fun going on hay rides and playing on all the fun exhibits.





She loved being with all of her fun friends, like Mary Hazel and Sadie!









Kate said it was the best day ever of kindergarten!

Back to the 90s

President Jack conducted Beta Induction and did such a great job! He spoke in front of a very large crowd. 



He's doing a great job leading the service club and we are so proud of him!
