Let's Play Ball
Jack's first baseball game was last night!
He hit really well!
And even slid into home plate...TWICE!
He was focused in the outfield and really kept his eye on the ball and his head in the game
And still had time for his fans
Let's go, Cowboys!

Graduation Day
Today was our last day of preschool. We spent the morning reviewing and working on our preschool memory books. Then when Ms Jen got there, it was time for graduation.
They looked cute in their hats and lei's.
They received their preschool diplomas.
And then we sprayed them with silly string!
We munched on hot dogs and celebratory cupcakes.
And had a swim party!
They looked cute in their hats and lei's.
It was a great ending to a great school year! Kindergarten here they come!

The Beginning of the Harvest
Our garden is really starting to grow and we are super excited. There are already flowers on the tomatoes, zucchini, and green beans
As well as on the squash. And our cucumber and pepper plants are growing and looking healthy now.
Plus we were able to harvest some spinach for dinner the other night. And the lettuce is ready too.
We also love that our flowers are blooming. We are keeping our eye on these since last year someone had the nerve to pick them out of our yard.
Back off! These are our beauties!

Opening Ceremonies
Today baseball kicked off with Opening Ceremonies!
Jack is on the Cowboys and is obviously thrilled about the pictures.
This year he is #31, Uncle Will's famous number
Our team shirts came in too and Luke was happy to model.
Luke cuddled up to Ryanne to watch the ceremonies. Each player ran the bases as their name was called and there were some speeches before they threw out the opening pitch.
We are excited for Jack's first game on Tuesday!

Fun in the Sun
We are taking advantage of the beautiful spring days before the heat and humidity hit and we have a newborn to worry about. In the last two days we have:
Gone to the park
Took a walk on the boardwalk
Made our first trip to the splash pad
Drove cars and practiced writing letters in the driveway
Climbed trees
Rode four wheelers (Luke is like his dad and likes to hook up a "trailer" behind his)
Been in and out of the pool
And made up lots of games as well as played in the sandbox.
We are loving the sunshine and fresh air!

Easter 2014
The boys were excited to find the Easter bunny had brought them new swimsuits and chocolate bunnies
And hidden eggs around the house.
Mr Sweet Tooth couldn't resist tasting the candy.
After a yummy Easter breakfast of egg shaped pancakes, we got in our Easter best and enjoyed church.
The afternoon was spent napping and enjoying our Easter dinner of ham, cheesy potatoes, green bean casseroke and rolls. Then the boys tried out their new swimsuits.
We just put the pool back up the day before and they were ready to test it out.
And Luke is so much taller in the pool now!
They took warm baths after their swim, put on their pjs, and played around with the plastic eggs in the backyard.
Our fish hasn't forgot how to swim.
It was a fun, family filled Easter. As good as they come!

Easter Eve
We had a busy Easter weekend full of lots of fun. On a Good Friday we loved having Daddy home. We met friends at the park and went to Chick-Fil-A for lunch as well as doing yard work together.
Then we worked hard in the yard because as Jack said, "This is the perfect day for working in the yard. The birds are singing and the sun is shining!"
After showers, we headed to Cameron did a crawfish boil. Mmmm, crawfish!
And a fun Easter egg hunt
The boys also loved playing with the other kids, seeing the donkeys and riding scooters.
On our way home we stopped at the wildlife preserve and saw quite a few alligators.
Saturday we started out the day by dyeing Easter eggs.
Everyone had lots of fun!
Jack said, "This is the most fun we've had in a long time! I can't remember the last time we did this!"
Needless to say, we were very tired when we got home that night! But we were ready for Easter the next morning!
