Party Time

Kate had a super fun birthday.
She invited all of her friends to the splash pad for some fun. Even Nana came!

We ate pizza, watermelon, and chips.

She was very nervous when everybody sang to her and she had to blow out her candles.

But loved her cupcakes.

And opening her presents.

Her brothers were so anxious for her to play with her presents. But she fell asleep on the way home and took a really long nap.

They got desperate waiting for her to wake up.

But soon our princess woke up and the fun could continue.

She loves all of her new treasures.

We also went to see Finding Dory in the theater. It was super cute and a great way to finish a great birthday!

Kate at 2

Someone had a birthday!

Kate is 2! Our smiley, silly, messy making Goldilocks talks about everything, using her hands and voice inflection for added emphasis. She can be bossy, especially with her brothers. She loves Daddy, applesauce, Full House, babies, getting dressed, singing, eggs, her boys, water, grapes, cooking, Five Little Monkeys, the trash truck, Popsicles, stickers, jumping, shoes, Daniel Tiger, Play Dough, watermelon, pencils, swimming, Go Dog Go and Mommy. She hates thunder and going to bed. She has the cutest smile and we love her so much! Happy Birthday pretty girl!

Father's Day

We were excited to celebrate Daddy.

We got him a basket of his favorite things and made a dinner of steak, Parmesan garlic green beans, and watermelon.

Luke gave a talk in Primary about his dad. "On Father's Day we celebrate our dads. My dad plays hide n seek with me. He swims with me. He wrestles with me. He works hard for our family. I am a child of God and He sent me to just the right dad for me."

We love our daddy!

Splash Down

It has been SO hot lately! But we've been fighting the heat with frequent trips to the pool and splash pad. I have three cute water babies!

The No Cavity Club

The kids went to the dentist for their check ups. Kate did really well at her first check up. Luke was a champ! He's come a long way from the kid that used to throw up on me after every visit. Jack had some struggles and ended up having to write a note of apology to the dentist so he could join us on our reward - Chuckie Cheese!

We played and had pizza.

And Luke hit the jackpot!

Strike!

We had a family bowling day at the old Petro Bowl.

We donned our bowling shoes, put up the bumpers, and had some fun.

Even Kate got in on the action.

We had a good time, minus one ultra competitive child and one who needed a nap by the end.

Mommy won the first game and Daddy won the second

Pink Eye

We had our first case of conjunctivitis ever. Poor Jack had a yucky looking eye. Luckily some special eye drops cleared it up pretty quickly.

We were quarantined for several days, only venturing out for Sonic Happy Hour.

And luckily his two partners in crime didn't catch it!

We Are The Champions

Keeping with tradition, the Coffman kids have completed their summer reading in less than a week. We are truly the champions! Even Kate got in on the action this year. Her favorite book is Go, Dog, Go. Luke likes books about trucks. And Jack likes most anything you put in front of him!

Ending With A Bang

Jack's baseball team had a team party at Fox's Pizza - on a super stormy day! While they partied, thunder shook the building and we had tornado warnings blaring on our phones.

But there was yummy pizza and cupcakes and medals for each boy!

It was a fun way to end a fun season!

Prehistoric Park

We heard about a dinosaur park east of Lafayette and decided to check it out.

Inside was a path through the jungle where you saw tons of huge dinosaurs.

There were even some animatronic dinosaurs, who may have scared the kids quite a bit.

We were also able to dig for dinosaur bones

We liked it so much we went through a second time. There were lots of silly signs

And there was a fun playground to play on

Luke got this umbrella and loves it. He even slept with it.

Prehistoric Park was a huge hit. I think we will go back!!
