Party Animal

This has been a very busy weekend around here and Jack has turned into the ultimate party animal.

Friday night we went to Dallin's work Christmas party.
We had a delicious dinner which included prime rib and Jack had fun playing with toys and flirting with everyone. This was only a preview of the flirting that would come this weekend.

Then Saturday he headed off to multiple birthday parties...

He wrapped up his gifts and was ready to go have some fun.

He had to rearrange the bow a few times before we could go. It had to look perfect.

The first party he went to was for Brooklynn's 2nd Birthday and was a Prince and Princess Party. They made crowns, danced at a ball (he loved when the birthday girl danced with him), had a tea party with apple juice, cookies, and fruit, opened presents, ate cake, and blew bubbles. He had the time of his life and especially loved giving Brooklynn hugs. He came home in such a happy mood. Little did he know that there was more fun in store.

We then loaded up and headed to Salt Lake. He took a little nap in the car and was ready to attend Carlie's 1st birthday party. And we soon discovered that he is quite the ladies man. First hugging and dancing with Brooklynn, then we catch him hugging and kissing Carlie. We are definitely going to have to watch him closely when he gets older. He had fun playing with Carlie and eating more cake.

We then headed over to the Greek Souvlaki, the site of our first date and had some tasty Greek gyros. Jack enjoyed the rice and just being out some more.

Then it was time for Temple Square, but really, that deserves it's whole individual post.

It was a great weekend and Jack had an awesome time. He loves playing and being around other kids. He can't wait to get together with his cousins for Christmas.

Walking With Daddy

We had some family pictures taken over Thanksgiving and I thought this picture turned out so cute of my boys.

Jack's Favorite Movie

Jack has never been much of a TV or movie watcher.
But we have found the ultimate short film that he loves.
It stars...Jack!
I posted the video of Jack playing basketball the other day and showed it to him.
He now watches it at least 20 times a day.
In the picture above, he's settled in for a snack to watch it a few hundred times.
When he's upset, I turn it on and he's happy again.
What an awesome movie!
Too bad it's only 1 minute long.

In case you missed it...

Un-Deck the Halls

Since we put up our Christmas tree, Jack has been obsessed with taking the ornaments off.
Most of the time our tree has no ornaments at Jack level.
Instead those ornaments are put in pots and pans, his favorite toy of the moment.
Sometimes he even sorts them by color.
My child is a genius.
Whatever makes him happy.

Let It Snow

The night before we left for California a huge blizzard was predicted. The news had us scared and we were really nervous when they closed down BYU campus, saying it was going to be the worst storm in years. Yet when we woke up the next morning, there was only a slight dusting of snow on the ground.

Unfortunately, the true storm didn't hit until the night we got back. Our plane landed to snow and icy roads. Luckily we made it home safely, if not late at night.

Jack has loved the snow and wants to get out there everyday.

He's tried eating it.

He's discovered a true love of snowballs.
He even likes it when you throw snowballs at him.

Today we got him some new pants so he's really ready to go.
Good thing another storm is on it's way!

NBA All Star Round 2

Jack continued his awesome basketball playing by joining a pick up game in the driveway.

It was boys vs. girls, so Jack and Uncle Will played Aunt Whitney and Aunt Cassidy.

Jack would get really excited when he had the ball and whenever Will would score.
He would also put on his intense face when he would try to steal the ball from the girls.

Here's a video of the awesome player.

NBA All Star Round 1

As soon as we got to Grandma and Grandpa's house, we hurried over to see Aunt Cassidy play basketball. Jack kept busy trying to climb on the bleachers and push everyone. He also covered his mouth in surprise every time the buzzer sounded.

After the game, he got busy shooting some hoops.
