We Made It!

The other 3\4 of the Coffman family have arrived.
After 2 1/2 weeks of being apart, we were reunited.
Dallin's mom was brave enough to drive me and the kids from California to Louisiana.

My three week old baby has now been through seven states in his young life.
He has proven to be one tough little guy.
He misses his Grammy, but us happy to be with Daddy.
It's amazing that even though they hadn't spent hardly any time together, Luke remembered Dallin and responds so well to him.

Jack did so well on the drive.
He watched a lot of movies, especially Curious George.
He played cars and talked and even napped.
He liked staying in the hotels and got to eat a waffle in the shape of Texas.
But he was very happy to see his Daddy and he loves his new house and being back with all his toys.

After 30 hours on the road, we've never been so happy to see a welcome sign.

Thank you to everyone who has helped us!
Thank you Grammy, Gramp, and Tassy for putting up with is for so long and helping us.
Thank you to Tashi (Aunt Shari) for being willing to take Jack so often to play.
And thank you Nana Lily for driving us so far and for helping us get settled in our new house.

Two Week Stats

Luke had his two week check up today.
Most babies just gain their birth weight back at two weeks
Luke managed to gain over a pound and he grew two inches
He is now 9 lbs and he is 21 inches long.
All that eating is paying off.
Everything else looked good on our little man.
He's such a cutie and growing so fast!

Halloween Fun

Jack had a great Halloween this year.

He didn't know what to expect and he was not disappointed.

Aunt Shari took him to Aunt Liz's house to go trick or treating since Mommy and Luke weren't quite up to going out.

He got to help Wylde carve pumpkins.

He had a great time playing with his cousins - Shyla, Wylde, and Isaac.

(Baby Wolfe wasn't in the picture)

They enjoyed a pizza picnic on the lawn before heading out to trick or treat.

Jack was not afraid of trick or treating and ran from door to door to keep up with the big boys.

Such a cute little monkey!

He was very impressed with his candy and had fun sorting through it.

Mmmmmm...candy!

Back at home, Luke sported his pumpkin pajamas in honor of the day.

He did some kicking on the rug, ate a bunch, pooped, and slept.

Oh, the life of a baby!

Brotherly Love

Jack just can't get enough of Luke.
He wants to hold him and touch him and kiss him all the time.
It's very sweet that he loves his brother so much.
But sometimes it's hard when Luke is trying to eat or sleep or get his diaper changed, and there's someone right up in his face.
I have a feeling these two are going to be best buds because most of the time Luke just looks adoringly back at his big bro.

Where In The World Are We?

So as if having a baby wasn't eventful enough, we also moved in the same week and are spread across the country.

My mom drove the kids and I to California so we could recover with the help of family. Meanwhile Dallin loaded up the moving truck and drove to Louisiana to find us a place to live and get things settled. He starts his new job on Monday.

It's hard being apart and we're excited to be reunited as a family in a few weeks.
Jack is living the California life, swimming in the nice weather.
The moving van packed full of all our stuff.
Thanks to Andrew for helping Dallin pack and to Lily for caravanning down and assisting Dallin in finding a house and getting settled.

Our new house.

Jack still living it up, eating ice cream in the jacuzzi.

Our sweet little Luke has been so good and has been meeting more family, but really missed his daddy.
Such a champ while traveling.
He slept the bulk of the time, only waking to eat.
