Packing in the Park Days
School gets out tomorrow, so we know that things are about to get more crowded. Plus temperatures are slowly creeping up to the soon to be unbearable range. And my belly is getting closer and closer to popping. So we are hitting the park as much as possible. Like three times in three days! Different parks each time, of course!
And don't worry - we always make sure there's a splash pad to cool us down too!

Belated Mother's Day
Dallin was gone on Mother's Day, so we celebrated today.
Jack made this in Primary last week. Funny thing - I'm in Primary and was the one who put them all together, with Jack's help. Yet on Mother's Day, he acted like it was the biggest surprise ever and was so excited to give it to me. It was so adorable.
Dallin made us a delicious feast for dinner! Spinach stuffed chicken, extra creamy mashed potatoes, and glazed carrots. It was AMAZING!
And Jack was insistent that they make strawberry pie for dessert. I am so stuffed from all this amazing food!
Today they were excited to make me a heart shaped sandwich for lunch. I love Jack's cute idea.
And I got lots of hugs and cuddles from my sweet boys!
I love all three of my awesome boys!

Let's Go To The Movies!
We had a fun family afternoon trip to the movies to celebrate Daddy being home. We saw Rio 2. Luke really likes the first Rio and Jack likes a trip to the movies so we decided to give it a go, especially since it'll be hard to go to the movies as a family once the baby arrives.
And it was fun just getting out and being together!

Playing Our Hearts Out
We spent almost 3 hours at the park today and played, played, PLAYED!
The boys have been playing really well together most of the time now and loved playing with each other.
Don't worry - we stayed hydrated!
We also dug for dinosaur bones.

Lafayette
Dallin has been working on a job near Lafayette, so we made a quick visit to see him. We drove over Tuesday afternoon. Daddy and the boys went swimming and hung out that night. They has missed each other a lot.
We enjoyed the amenities of the hotel. Jack slept in and enjoyed his continental breakfast.
Then we visited the Zoo of Acadiana. It's a small zoo, but it had monkeys
Giraffes
A white tiger (can you spot him? Jack didn't want to get too close)
Alligators
As well as bears, lions, leopards, and lots of birds. There was also a train ride that was a hit.
Happy to be on the train
Luke loved waving to the animals we saw from the train, including zebras and camels.
After a fun morning, we picked up some lunch and headed home since Jack has another baseball game tonight. It was fun seeing Daddy and going on an adventure!

What's Happening
So we have just been doing a little of this, a little of that lately.
We have cute boys!
Sprinklers are a hit around here.
Even though preschool is over, we have been doing a little of our own work each day. Don't want our brains getting mushy!
And playing a lot of baseball. Tonight Jack even had a diving catch! He's improved so much since last year.
The lawn needed mowing and Dallin was out of town, so Jack changed his four wheeler into a riding lawn mower and got to work.
And we are starting to enjoy our green beans from the garden.

Scriptures Undercover
We read our of our children's scriptures every night. We've read the Book of Mormon twice and last night we finished the Old Testament. Jack's favorite story was about David and Goliath.
Sometimes in the mornings the boys like to play "covers." They hide under my sheets and pretend to read the Book of Mormon. This morning I overheard Jack teaching Luke. "The people were being wicked. So Jesus sent the prophets and the Lamanites to kick them." Such a scriptorian!
