This year we skipped the parades, but we didn't skip the food

We also spent time at the hunting lease taking care of a hog problem. There was a shoot out, and this guy did not come out unscathed

We got to watch him be skinned, and now we have more pork in our freezer.

We enjoyed the warm beautiful day

And took some fun four wheeler rides.

And visited the deer stands.

It was a fun Fat Tuesday!

The kids were super excited for Valentine's Day and worked hard on their Valentine's

I won some Valentine's leggings so I was looking cool for the day.

We heart attacked the kids' doors with things we love about them and they got candy and a book.

But the big event of the day...the arrival of our new oven and stove. Isn't it beautiful??

Kate is a big girl now and no longer sleeps in a crib!

She was thrilled to have her big girl bed. It was an adjustment the first little while. She used her new found freedom to get up and explore

But now she is sleeping soundly and loving her new bed!

Daddy had a great birthday. We had a steak dinner that we enjoyed outside, then cupcakes for dessert.

The kids were so excited to celebrate his birthday and give him gifts. He got a new Fitbit from us plus a George Foreman grill and money from others.

We love our daddy and all that he does for us. He works hard and loves us! We love you, Dallin!

We made it through 100 days of school! Luke made this awesome shirt in honor of it. He had 100 bandaids

Kate also made a similar shirt with lots of bandaids. We got to meet up with Luke and count 100 fruit loops and hang out

We also went to Jack's class and went through centers based on 100. We made fruit loop necklaces, did a 100 piece puzzle

And built a tower out of 100 cups!

It was great day and a big accomplishment that we made it here, especially after the rough start of the year. Hooray for the great year!

Basketball season is in full force and Jack is playing for the Lakers!

He's definitely improved since last season and really enjoys it a lot.

He hustles hard, is aggressive and always does his best!

We love our little dribbler!

We have a very ambitious girl around here who wants to do it all. She's a doctor and a princess. She keeps us healthy and rules with an iron fist
