Move It, Move It

We took Jack's 4 wheeler out in the driveway for some action.

He's figured out how to push the button to make it move, but struggles with the steering.

His cousin Camden loves riding it too, so he was kind enough to take turns with her.

Looking like Mr. Cool in his new shoes.

Where A Kid Can Be A Kid

When all the cousins got to town, we had some major fun at Chuck E. Cheese.

Playing Skee-Ball

Munching down on pizza - Jack ate 2 pieces!

Riding the carousel

Riding rides with cousins

With his tickets, Jack managed to win a bouncy ball and a sucker.
Pretty good for a 17 month old!

Things To Do At Nana and Pop Pop's House

Jack has been very busy at Nana and Pop Pop's house.

Nana has lots and lots of snowmen decorating her house
And coincidentally, Jack loves snowmen.
So he spent quite a bit of time playing with and admiring Nana's snowmen.

The first few days of our visit were very warm
Jack spent some time with his feet in the pool.
He even fell in the pool at one point.
Luckily Uncle Andrew saved him
He went for some boat rides with his cousins.

And enjoyed sitting in the boat while it was on dry land.

He liked playing with his little cousins.

And sometimes hugging them a little too tightly.

He borrowed Uncle Andrew's hat and looked really cool.

He really loved having a dance party with his cousins.
Rock on!

Santa Clause Is Coming to Town

On Christmas morning, Jack didn't quite know what to expect, even though he'd already celebrated once before.

Looking pretty tired.

Santa Clause brought lots of treats in his stocking

And even brought things for Daddy too!

Jack was extra surprised that Santa had brought him a 4 wheeler too!

He enjoyed opening presents and getting Play-Doh, clothes, shoes, cars, etc.

Relaxing amongst his loot

We spent the rest of the day, relaxing and cruising around on the 4 wheeler.
We enjoyed a tasty Christmas dinner and family!

Hope everyone had a very merry Christmas!

Twas the Night Before Christmas

On Christmas Eve...

We sang Christmas carols

We acted out the Nativity, which included two beautiful angels and a shirtless Joseph

We frosted sugar cookies for Santa, although Jack ate more than he frosted.

Uncle Andrew read "The Polar Express" to the kids

And then it was off to bed with visions of sugar plums dancing in their heads.

Sitting On the Dock

We escaped the cold of Utah and arrived in Texas on Saturday night

Sunday we went to church and then spent a leisurely Sunday afternoon relaxing on the dock.

Jack had a blast playing and running around.

When you're in Texas, you've got to get out your cowboy hat to fit in.
The cutest cowboy in town!

If Everyday Could Be Christmas

Santa Claus heard that Jack was going to be out of town on Christmas and wouldn't be able to fit lots of presents in his suitcase, so he came to to visit a little early.

This is the scene Thursday night...

Friday morning, Jack woke up to lots of surprises...

Once we were able to get him away from the unopened toys, we worked on opening presents.

He quickly got the hang of it, but was easily distracted by all the fun toys.
He loves dancing to Karaoke Elmo

We had to hide Elmo to get him to open the rest of his gifts, but he loved them all.

We also got a Wii and the boys went crazy. We couldn't drag the uncles away from it.

We also ate a ton!

We had the uncles over for breakfast and ate pancakes, hashbrowns, bacon, sausage, and eggs.

Then that night Aunt Whitney and cousin Shelby passed through town on their way back from Idaho and we had a Christmas dinner that included ham, cheesy potatoes, green bean casserole, and rolls.

We had a great first day of Christmas and are looking forward to celebrating more!
