On Saturday Dallin was lucky enough to go to Baton Rouge to see LSU play. It was his first time and he had a blast.
Meanwhile, back at the ranch, there was a Stake Dance. Since I am in Young Women now and it was in Lake Charles, the kids and I went for awhile.
Jack could care less but Luke loved it. He kept trying to crawl out on the dance floor and then he would show off his amazing dance moves. We better watch out - in 15 years, he will be rocking the Stake Dances!

Yummy In My Tummy
One thing we were excited about was eating at some of our favorite Utah places that we've missed. And we were not disappointed.
*Mexsal
*J Dawgs
*Costa Vida
*In N Out
*The Sweet Tooth Fairy
*Betos
*The Greek Souvlaki
Yeah, we may have gained a few pounds. But it was sure tasty!

Over the River and Through the Woods
We were also lucky that my dad came up to see us while we were in Utah. On Sunday afternoon we spent time with him at Great-Grandma Strong's house. Jack had fun playing Blue's Clues with Gramp, getting pushed on the tire swings, wrestling with Uncle Will, and playing with Aunt Natalie. We also took a walk up to the cemetery. Jack was fascinated by the windmills. We has a great time. I only wish I had taken a picture of the the boys with Great-Grandma Strong!

Mountains, Mountains
We have definitely missed the mountains of Utah. And they were definitely beautiful while we were there because the leaves were changing.
On Saturday afternoon, we took lunch to Bridal Veil Falls. Football was played and then we checked out the falls and fed the fish.
Then we headed to Sundance to ride the lift and see the view. Unfortunately they closed the lift just as we got there because of weather. We still were able to walk around and check things out. My boys wore sweaters for the first time in 6 months. We got some great pictures before the rain set in. I love our family picture.

Let's Go Cougars!
We were lucky enough to be in Provo for the BYU football season opener and since Uncle Andrew was hosting us, he made sure we did lots of Cougar related activities.
There were two trips to Legacy Hall, the BYU sports museum, a walk on campus and trip to the bookstore to purchase game day shirts, a pregame pancake party, face painting, and then the ultimate - tickets to the big game. Luke and I opted out of going to the game since he's at just the wrong age for it to be any fun. Dallin and Jack went and lasted as long as exhausted Jack could make it. We don't have any pictures from the game - do you, Uncle Andrew?
It was fun showing our Cougar pride and living the campus life again!

Cousins Are the Best
The main reason we went to Utah was to meet new cousin Paris and see her blessing by Uncle Andrew. She is such a beautiful baby and the boys admired her. Luke really wanted to kiss on her and suck on her head, but we kept him from too much loving on her.
We were also lucky that cousins Savannah, Cami, and Briley were there. (We missed you, Eli, Emme, and Gideon!) Last time we saw Briley, she and Jack did not get along. But this time, on neutral territory, they got along great. She called him Jackers and they loved playing together. Jack definitely loves his cousins and we wish we lived closer so they could play more often.
