Luke is at that age - the age where he finds all kinds of trouble. He seems to get into more trouble than I ever remember Jack finding. Maybe because he wants to be big like his brother. And he's extremely curious. And he's 18 months.
He tries to climb trees. Or into things that are balanced precariously. Or anything for that matter. And he can make a mess in two seconds flat, which is especially easy in a house with lots of boxes being unpacked.
He managed to find an anthill and stand in it. Both of us have an abundance of bites to show for that adventure.
And he allowed me to make my first call to Poison Control when he found a box of rat poison while we were packing up our old garage. I am pretty sure he didn't eat any since there was no coloration around his mouth and there haven't been any side effects 36 hours later. But he sure gave us a good scare. Luckily the kind Poison Control man told me no toddler has ever consumed enough rat poison to cause too much damage.
But boy, oh baby boy, this little man sure keeps me on my toes!
