Money, Muffins, and Mustaches
Preschool was at our house this week. We did a lot sigh Christmas. We read lots of Christmas books and made handprint Christmas trees with thumb print ornaments.
Our letter of the week was M. M is for money! We decorated wallets and played store with our fake money.
Since it was Izzy's birthday, we sang to her while she blew out the candle on her muffin.
And everyone grew a mustache with their milk.

Christmas Spirit
We have been getting into the Christmas spirit.
The house is decorated.
Candy canes are our favorite treat.
Christmas movie nights have abounded.
Aunt Bethany made Kate this Christmas tutu.
We are wearing our new Chridtmas clothes to church.
Christmas can't come fast enough for some of these folks!

Rocking On Top of the World
Our ward had its Christmas party this weekend. We made gumbo and wore our Christmas clothes, despite the warm temps. The kids have been practicing the program for weeks. It started with a Polar Express theme. Jack and Luke danced their little hearts out. It then turned to s focus of the Savior and finished with the kids singing "Unto Us A Child Is Born" from Handel's Messiah and Joy to the World. They were amazing!
Santa also paid a visit. Jack was excited but forgot to tell him what he wanted.
And pool Luke was terrified. The minute he saw Santa, he panicked and started crying. It was hard to get him to calm down.
Merry Christmas!
Kate could care less.

Ugly Sweater Party
We donned our ugly sweaters and Christmas pajamas for our annual party!
We were joined by lots of friends and food.
The kids played away while the adults had an awesome white elephant gift exchange.
It was a night to remember. Good times with good friends!

Presenting the Play Set
After months of hard work, Dallin had finished the play set for that kids. Complete with playhouse, swings and slide, Dallin designed and built it all on his own! He is amazing!

Nurse Kate
Grammy has been sick so Kate and I went to California to help her for a week.
While we were there, Kate visited Primary and they even sang to her.
She took Grammy to the doctor.
And entertained her with her stickers, babies, and cute personality.
She cooked up lots of freezer meals.
And had some good times on her new Magna Doodle.
Nurse Kate was sad to say goodbye to Grammy, but happy to get home to her boys. And they were happy to see her!

It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas
The night after Thanksgiving, we turned on the Christmas tunes, pulled out the donuts and sparkling cider, and decorated for Christmas. Luke was so excited he was singing Jingle Belld all day.
They also loved playing with their nativities, or activities as Jack calls them.
Kate loved taking ornaments off the tree and getting into everyone's things.
We are ready for the Christmas season!
