One evening, I was sitting next to Luke when he spent on the floor. I started to launch into a lecture on not spitting, when he informed me that he has lost his tooth and just spit it on the floor. He never even mentioned a loose tooth before! This is his first tooth lost naturally and he seems like such a big boy now. The tooth fairy came and left him some money. And a big tooth has already popped up in it's place!

Summer Reading
This year the library summer reading theme is "Building A Better World." We went to the kickoff party, where there was food, games, and face painting. We also registered for the summer reading program and committed to reading 10 books. Easy peasy.
We did it in about two weeks. Luke and Kate read lots of fun picture books. Jack was a reading fool - he far exceeded the challenge. He's been into Roald Dahl, Percy Jackson, Harry Potter, I Survived, and Captain Awesome. And he still had a stack of books he's planning on reading for the rest of the summer. We are book worms!

Little Fish
These three love the water! We spent a fun evening running around the splash pad. Oh those summer nights!
And they want to swim every day, rain or shine. They just can't get enough
Art Show
Jack had his annual year end art show. This year he displayed this remarkable rabbit. It's amazing that a seven-year-old drew that! He continues to love and excel in art and is looking forward to art camp this summer.

Wet and Wild
Our Primary held their annual End of the Year Water Party.
There were lots of fun games (which Luke managed to beat all the big boys at!) and a fun slip n slide.
The nursery kids had fun in the kiddie pools playing with toys.
It was a fun way to kick off summertime!
Last Day of PreK
Lucas has come a long way in PreK! He went from a crying nervous little guy to a confident, well behaved man. We are grateful for the patience of his teachers, Mrs Mahoney and Ms Cara.
On his last day, they had a picnic with McDonald's Happy Meals and got special PreK awards. It was a great year!
Awards Day
Jack ended second grade with his usual bang. Awards Day brought four awards - highest comprehension in AR, most AR points, Banner Roll, and Outstanding Conduct. We are so proud of what a smart, hard working guy he has become!
