Day at the Museum

The poor Caples were sick again so we had to cancel preschool today. Instead of sitting at home (especially with tomorrow being a snow day. What?!?!?), we decided to head to the Children's Museum. 

They shopped


Fished 


Paddled 

Built 

Saved the day 


Raced


And raced some more 

Fought their way through pool noodles 


Delivered the news 


Relaxed and read in the sweet reading room


Fought their way through a castle maze


And started their own band (Uncle Andrews in training)



Afterwards we went to lunch at Raising Cane's, where they ate lots of bread and chicken. That much fun creates an appetite!

    Where is this Children's museum and how long has LC had one?

      It's downtown on Broad Street. The website says it's been there since 1988. How did you not take your kids there?? Now you can come to take your grandkids

    Lily - it was first located at Central School, on Kirby St. I went on a field trip w/ Jennifer when she was Kindergarten/1st grade.
