Our trip to Denver was relatively uneventful.
Jack slept a lot (or pretended to sleep, like he's doing in the picture).
He read, watched a movie, played Mr. Potato Head, and puzzles.
We did discover he had some car sickness as he threw up twice, but other than that he did really well.
The drive back was a little more exciting.
We left Sunday afternoon since Dallin and Andrew had school and work on Monday.
About an hour into the drive, we discover that they had close I-70, both ways, due to an accident.
We tried the alternate route.
It was a windy, mountain room covered in snow and ice.
After almost getting stuck once, we decided to turn around.
It was fun having an extra night with the cousins though.
We got up early Monday morning and braved icy fog and slushy roads, but eventually made it home.
What an adventure!
