We met up with some friends at the pool to grill and swim. Jack was a major water baby. He was rarely out of the water. He loved swimming in his tube to the ladder, climbing out, and then jumping back in. He even jumped off the diving board a few times (with Daddy and in the tube). We ended up staying for 4.5 hours!
The boys napped for awhile before we headed on our next adventure.
We stopped off at the ward party where they BBQ'ed and had water games. It was fun to socialize and play around.
Then we headed over to the Civic Center and listened to a patriotic band. We waited around for fireworks and enjoyed the show, despite the sketchy people around (I think we will find somewhere different to watch next year). It was neat seeing the fireworks over the lake.
We were all exhausted and are still recovering today from our amazingly fun and busy day.
We love living in this country and hope y'all had a spectacular 4th too!
