This weekend we were lucky enough to go to Utah to visit family. We flew out on Wednesday evening. We thought Isaac might cause us trouble, but he only brought some wind before we left and everything went smoothly at the airport. Both boys did great. Luke slept the entire time on both flights. Jack was excited about the experience and colored, watched shows on the phone, talked a lot and slept some. They also enjoyed riding the train and the "moving stairs" at the Houston airport. Both kids were exhausted when we met up with Nana and Pop Pop late Wednesday night in Salt Lake.
We flew back Monday afternoon. There wasn't as much sleeping. But we purchased the DirectTV for Jack and he kept busy watching Nick Jr and Cars 2. Luke slept some, but was also pretty squirmy. And there were some major tears before we took off for Lake Charles. But all in all we survived and it was totally worth it for the awesome weekend we experienced!
