This year was our first Thanksgiving on our own without visiting any family.
The day started out with Dallin going to the ward Turkey Bowl and Jack and I watched the balloons on the Macey's Thanksgiving Day parade.
Luke sported his turkey bib and football binky to celebrate.
Jack was busy making messes and "helping."
Luke felt the need to be close to Mama while she cooked dinner.
Jack kept busy collecting acorns.
This year we deep fried our turkey.
It didn't turn out perfectly due to a faulty thermometer, but was still pretty good.
We also feasted on mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, stuffing, sweet potato pie, and rolls.
Then we went to the beach on Lake Charles since we have a boy that is in love with the "beesh."
He was in heaven digging in the sand.
We watched the beautiful sunset.
